There are a couple of changes to my autumn schedule of arts and crafts fairs.
Unfortunately, I am no longer able to attend the Christmas event at Duncombe Park (14-15 November). However, I have added a new two day event in York on Sat 31st October and Sun 1st November - the second Arts and Crafts fair to be held at the National Railway Museum on Leeman Road.

A late addition to the Mark Sunderland Photography events list for 2009 is a new two day arts and crafts fair at the National Railway Museum in York.
Mark will be showing a selection of Yorkshire and worldwide prints along with greetings cards and his acclaimed new 'Yorkshire Through the Seasons' book. A preview of a new image from my shoot earlier this week before the rain arrived:
 Roseberry Topping, North York Moors, Yorkshire I had a drive up to Roseberry Topping after a visit to Mount Grace Priory on Monday this week, as the evening light was so beautiful. The sun was still relatively high when I shot this at around 8pm, but the crop in the foreground (is that wheat?) just looked lovely. Landscape Expressions Exhibition

Mark Sunderland is collaborating with Harrogate Printmakers in a new exhibition entitled Landscape Expressions at Art in The Mill, Knareborough this April.
 Featuring atmospheric photographs from Mark Sunderland's new Dales Light series (including Winter Light, above) and monoprints, linocuts and collographs by Harrogate Printmakers Lesley Birch, Yvonne Elvin and Mandy Maynard inspired by the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. There is another chance to see last year's popular Mountain Landscape exhibition by Mark Sunderland.
Visitors to Tiger 11 in Leeds will be able to see sixteen pieces celebrating the beauty of mountainous landscapes of the world from the western USA to the southern Andes, Australia, Iceland and closer to home in the Yorkshire Dales in this exhibition organised by Artsmix. Moving Water II Limited Edition Prints Now Available

 Leura Colours I "My Moving Water images combine the natural blurring of waterfall subjects with my own camera movements. My first series of Moving Water images concentrated on deep earthy colours, so I was keen to find a waterfall subject with different coloured rocks behind the water. On a trip to the Blue Mountains, I found a little waterfall at Leura Falls consisting of a series of small cascades over orange rocks covered in moss, and knew immediately that this was the subject I was looking for." I would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Original Art Exhibitions A sale of original art and photography Sunday 2nd September 2007 10am to 4pm Gracious Street Methodist Church Hall, Knaresborough Knaresborough landscape photographer Mark Sunderland is a regular exhibitor at the Original Art Exhibitions events held in Addingham Memorial Hall (see www.originalartexhibitions.co.uk for details). Mark has invited the organiser Tony Broadbent to stage a similar event in Knaresborough, and the result is Knaresborough’s first Original Art Exhibitions art sale to be held at Gracious Street Methodist Church Hall on Sunday 2nd September.
Mark Sunderland will be showing more of his ‘Yorkshire Through the Seasons’ series of prints (above) some of which can be seen in McQueen’s Cafe on the High Street and in Northern Galleries, Market Place. He will also have some limited edition prints from a new ‘Moving Water’ series of images (below).
Tony Broadbent will have a selection of dramatic abstract landscape paintings on display (below), and there will work from other regular Addingham exhibitors from the region and further afield.

July Addingham Event Cancelled - but Four Events in August!

Unfortunately the Original Art Exhibitions event at Addingham this weekend (July 29th) has been cancelled. A number of exhibitors travelling north are not able to attend due to the recent flooding. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. The two day event in August will go ahead as planned.
